My mother is the Bold Soul in my life. She is the strongest, most resilient, and smartest person I know.
She has grown through all the turbulence life has dumped on her and has always come out stronger, pulling her children and loved ones with her.

My mother was adopted from Costa Rica when she was 13 and left behind 4 siblings. We were able to travel there in May. The smells of freshly brewed coffee, warm pan (bread), and sweet organic fruits like mango and papaya remind me of our cathartic and special trip.
